‘SF should take Westminster seats’
SINN Fein should take their seats in Westminster to defend Irish interests ahead of Brexit, Fine Gael claim.
Senator Frank Feighan said the republican party should drop its historic policy.
He added: “Maybe now is the time for Sinn Fein to take up their seats in Westminster for Ireland.”
A Sinn Fein spokesman said: “If Fine Gael thinks Irish politicians should take seats in the British Parliament then they should seek a mandate, stand candidates in Northern elections and stop hurling from the ditch.”
