Minister hails arts scheme

WEXFORD is set for an injection of colour as a new art scheme was launched yesterday.

Advancing The Arts, which was backed by the local council, go the green light from by Culture Minister Jospeha Madigan yesterday.

She said: “Investment in arts yields a very positive return for the State – not just in financial terms but much more important in terms of well-being and the general good of our communities.”
