US star sings UK national anthem
Meghan takes place with royals behind Queen, Charles, Camilla, Wills & Kate MEGHAN Markle makes a bright start in a white beret on her first public outing with the Queen.
The American actress, who will marry Prince Harry in two months, also sang
God Save The Queen.
Meghan, 36, stood out among the royals in her €1,000 cream coat by British designer Amanda
Wakeley, matching hat by UK milliner Stephen
Jones and blue Manolo
Blahnik stilettos.
She told wellwishers she was “very excited” about her wedding day on May 19.
She was at the annual Common- wealth service at Westminster Abbey, where she took her place among the leading royals. Although technically still a commoner, Meghan sat alongside Harry in the order of precedence that she will have when they are married – behind The Queen, Charles, Camilla, William and Kate, but ahead of Andrew, Anne and Sophie. They walked behind her on the way out of the Abbey.
She exchanged a smile with future sister-in-law Kate, 36, who wore a navy dress by London label Beulah – and stiletto heels almost identical to Meghan’s.
