LIMERICK AND OFFALY COIN IT

ALL of the NHL quarter-finals will take place this Sunday, with Offaly and Limerick to enjoy home advantage.

The right to host at this stage of the competition is dictated by how many home games teams have enjoyed so far.

That meant Tipperary and Galway automatically had to travel to Dublin and Wexford respectively.

However, when teams have played the same number of home games, a coin is flipped to determine the venue.

Offaly and Limerick both won their tosses and will host Kilkenny and Clare respectively.

All ties will be decided on the day, with extra-time or a free-taking competition to determine a winner if necessary.
