Jared is aiming to crack Irish scene

-

Irish musicians have long since travelled across the Atlantic with the hopes of making it Stateside but American singer Jared Dylan has made the move to Dublin with the goal of cracking Ireland.

The New Jersey native (above) has already racked up over 1.5million streams on spotify and has made the move to work with Irish musicians and producers while he releases his latest collection of songs.

Speaking to The Beat ahead of a string of Irish dates, he said: “This will be an exciting year. I am releasing a concept album with a correlating animated short film and touring Ireland to promote that release.

“At the same time I will be working on my LP and collaborating with local artists. I’ve already been able to work with Paddy Casey and it was amazing.”

The young singer is today releasing his new song Can’t Stop, which he describes as “a cheeky little song that everyone should be able to relate to. It’s a little sarcastic at times; maybe a little bitter, but always hopeful. Honestly, It’s just supposed to be fun.”

Jared kicks off his support gigs in Dublin’s Bello Bar on March 23 with Oh-bryan; March 24 he supports Christy Dignam and Joe Jewell from Aslan at the Bru Boru in Cashel, Tipperary; March 29 he supports Aslan at The Quays in Galway and March 31 in Tullamore GAA.

He plays his own headline show on April 5 in Kenmare’s Crowley’s Bar.
