The emotional make-up came just days after explosive emails threatened to send their war of words to new heights.
The scene left no-one more thrilled than their mum Andrea Brown who said: “My prayers answered 10yrs apart sisters unite. Family is everything.”
Mel, 42, and ex-emmerdale star Danielle, 36, had rebuilt their relationship over shared hatred of the Spice Girl’s former husband Stephen Belafonte.
And the sisters finally put the past behind them at a party in LA to celebrate the 11th birthday of Mel’s daughter Angel. Days earlier, damning emails reportedly written by Andrea and Danielle emerged.
They branded singer Mel a “narcissist” and “liar” who needs “professional help”.
One said to be from Danielle to Mel in November 2014 reveals her anger after Mel allegedly refused to visit their cancer-stricken father Martin until he was “on his death bed”.
It is titled “The day my only sister was out my life for good”.
The emails were provided in documents filed to an LA court by Belafonte, 43, as part of their bitter divorce battle. They backed his formal request that their daughter Madison and his stepdaughter Angel receive therapy.
