Prince: I’ll name child after ace
ON NAMING CHILD AFTER STAR
ASTON Villa fan Prince William said he wants to name his third child after Jack Grealish, after watching the star score a spectacular late winner for his side.
William dropped a big hint he and wife Kate are expecting a boy after cheering on his team at Villa Park.
The Prince was snapped celebrating 22-year-old Grealish’s dramatic volley against Cardiff City with former player John Carew on Tuesday night.
After the crunch Championship game, he appeared to let slip the sex of his third child, who is due in the next few weeks. He told fans: “I’m going to insist the baby is called Jack,” before adding after a pause “… or Jackie”.
He made the light-hearted comment after watching Grealish score the stunning 85th minute winner against his team’s promotion rivals.
The 36-year-old, wearing a claret and blue scarf, sat in executive seats alongside Norwegian player Carew, 38.
After the game, Grealish gave
William his match-winning shirt as a souvenir when the Prince mingled with the players in the dressing room.
The delighted midfield star said of the meeting: “It was really nice. He’s such a down-to-earth person.”
