Hubby dumped me... to save my career

JANE Mcdonald says her husband left her because he feared he would destroy her showbiz career.
Henrik Brixen, a plumber, met the singer on board ship during the filming of fly-on-the-wall series The Cruise.
They wed in 1998 and he became her manager.
He ended their relationship after four years of marriage.
Jane, 55, revealed: “Henrik tried his very, very best and he was brilliant at what he did but he didn’t know the industry.
“We’d come to a point where Henrik had made quite a few enemies and he said, ‘If I don’t leave, you are never going to have a career’.
“And this is why I never talk about Henrik in a bad light at all because he... walked out of the marriage to save my career.”

GOOD TIMES Jane on red carpet with Henrik in 1999 has recently been nominated for a Bafta for her TV show Cruising with Jane Mcdonald.
But she admits the marriage breakdown left her heartbroken.
Speaking in her new documentary, she said: “I took two years off and it was hard. I didn’t just lose my husband, I lost my manager.”
Jane has found love again. Since 2008 she has been back with her childhood boyfriend, drummer Eddie Rothe, who has been a member of bands such as The Searchers.
