Katie cools off after running out of puff

Katie and Amy KATIE Price gave up on the London Marathon yesterday before she was half-way round the course and went for an ice cream with her mum.

The model, 39, had been running for the British Lung Foundation, sporting 10ft pink lungs on her back.

But her tracker stopped between 10kms and 15kms, and a policeman on a bicycle was later seen finishing the event with the giant lungs.

Katie – said to be nursing a knee injury – then posted an image with mum Amy, 64, who has an incurable lung condition.

She said: “Tried my best in a heavy outfit and if my mummy is proud that’s what matters.” Footage from online video taken in Co Down POLICE are investigat­ing after a teenage girl was the subject of a relentless and brutal battering at the weekend.

Footage shared on social media shows her being repeatedly punched and kicked in the face by a number of people.

A male then pours a liquid over her head while she’s lying defenceles­s on the concrete.

The violent incident, which we are not using more pictures of because of its graphic nature, happened at the pier in Bangor, Co Down, on Friday evening.

The 16-year-old victim’s ordeal continued after the recording stopped – she was eventually rescued from a fountain by a passing motorist.

A teenage boy has been charged with a number of offences.

A PSNI spokesman said officers received a report of an assault on a young female in the seafront area of the town around 8pm on Friday.
