Bono, Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr kicked off the EXPERIENCE + INNOCENCE show at Tulsa’s BOK Center in Oklahoma with a brave and blistering three-hour, 27-track set.

It boasted songs from their latest album alongside some of their best-loved hits including Beautiful Day, I Will Follow, Sunday Bloody Sunday and Elevation.

“Cedarwood is this beautiful street from the past but of course it is what is in your head that counts. So I am walking down the road thinking it is a warzone, it was a warzone in my teens.

“It probably wasn’t but it was in my head. It is a personal story trying to take the solipsistic aspect out of it is impossible.

“You don’t want to be too self-indulgent because it is a rock ‘n’ roll band in the end.”
