Tonight Melodic present Sebastien Leger at Yamamori Tengu – one of the most unique and captivating producers the techno scene has produced over the past decade.

His steadily rising career is proof of where hard graft, dedication, passion, consistency and originality can take a producer to. His prolific work rate belies the thought and effort that he pours into each production, setting him out as the antithesis to lazy contemporaries who churn out unimaginative production line formulas.

Big tracks include Hit Girl, Hypnotized and Aqualight and he is still touring and producing with Chris Lake, the single Aqualight was a collaboration between the two.

Leger has built on his skills as a trained pianist and drummer to bring that discipline and experience to his tracks.

He also runs Mistakes Music record label – support from Melodic DJS and admission is €15 with doors at 11pm.

The Division crew team up with Vision Collector to bring you Marcel Fengler at PYG tomorrow night.

Growing up, Fengler was fascinated by hiphop culture, breakdance and graffiti art. However his interest shifted towards techno music and the art of Djing after the Berlin wall came down.

A vinyl nerd, he began playing records during the early nineties. Upon witnessing Claude Young mixing with three record players, Fengler followed his path merging both influences; turntablism and techno.

Carried away by the magic and the togetherness of the first hardcore and trance raves in such clubs like E-werk or Tresor, he organised his own parties in his hometown Furstenwalde Germany with his childhood friend Marcel Dettmann.

As a DJ and producer, Marcel Fengler is very much about imposing surprises and the appeal of variety, where techno is both an unconditional passion as well as an essential part of his identity.

He’s not bound to a linear or onedimensional sound, instead, he’s constantly seeking for new ways to express his emotional storytelling skills. His willingness to challenge himself and all the while staying curious, it is his true vision of techno which makes Marcel Fengler one of the today’s most exciting electronic artists.

Support comes from Niall Dunne aka Pineal Navigation, Saturday Division resident Will Kinsella and on the terrace Josh Green from 6pm to club 10pm, admission €10.
