UK pressure in fishing row
IRELAND’S access to UK fishing waters could be suspended to apply pressure on the country to fix a “constitutional defect”.
The Voisinage Arrangement allows for access to the North and Republic vessels up to six miles off the coast of each country.
It has been suspended in Ireland since 2016.
UK Fisheries Minister George Eustice said it would consider suspending Irish access in a bid to put pressure on the Government to act.
