A whole Lot more than I bargained...

- BY ANITA MCSORLEY

Dunnes A LUCKY Lotto winner told how she picked up a prize worth €61,933 – after thinking it was €7,500.

The thrilled mum from Dundalk only realised when calling her sister after Saturday’s draw.

She said: “I thought the prize was for about €7,500 which I was thrilled with.

“I nearly had to be pulled up off the floor when she told me it was for €41,933.”

The surprises didn’t end there though – a Lotto promotion meant she also won a €20,000 holiday.

Her ticket was bought at Dunnes Stores in The Marshes shopping centre.

Meanwhile, a woman from Co Cavan claimed the same prize an hour later. Her ticket was bought in Baileborough Post Office.
