Amy’s Joy as her comedy comes to life
Amy Huberman A NEW comedy written by and starring Amy Huberman is going into production with RTE.
Finding Joy is about a 34-year-old trying to move on after a break-up from her boyfriend.
The six-part series, produced by Treasure Entertainment, begins shooting in Dublin.
RTE is co-producing with Acorn TV, as it has done on dramas Striking Out and Acceptable Risk.
Amy said: “I’ve thoroughly loved the writing process and now can’t wait to start filming and see the world and all the characters come to life.”
RTE’S Justin Healy said: “Amy is naturally a very funny person, and in Finding Joy she brings that comedy gene to the fore.”
