Maya was born to star

UMA Thurman’s daughter has been “preparing to be an artist” since she was six, according to dad Ethan Hawke. Uma and Ethan’s daughter Maya Hawke, 19, (left) has landed a role in the third series of Stranger Things and her dad is far from surprised.

In a US interview for his new movie First Reformed, Ethan, 47, says: “I had no doubt she was going to get parts. It wasn’t a giant shock to me. It’s fun to see my own profession through somebody who’s just starting.”
