KANTE TO HAVE A BALL AT WEMBLEY

- BY DARREN LEWIS

N’GOLO KANTE will be inspired to win the FA Cup by the fact he has never lifted a Wembley trophy.

Chelsea’s France midfielder, 27, has clinched two Premier League titles, one with Leicester and the other with the Blues.

Despite his talent, however, Kante has yet to win a domestic cup competition and is desperate to put that right on Saturday against Manchester United.

Kante (right, on the ball) said: “The only thing I have won at Wembley are two semifinals, so to win one trophy there would be really amazing. We are all a bit disappointed about our final place in the Premier League table, but the FA Cup is something to win, something to finish the season on a good note.

“It is something we can enjoy all together with the team, the staff, the supporters. We are really looking forward to it.

“Every final is different. We have played Manchester

United twice this season, we have won once and lost once, and I think we have our chances of winning this game and getting this trophy.

“For me, it is the fifth or sixth time playing at Wembley, and it is always good. Having half and half supporters makes it very special.”
