GUNDOGAN ATTRACTS INTER-EST

- BY DAVID ANDERSON

ILKAY GUNDOGAN could be heading for the Manchester City exit.

Inter Milan are keen on the midfielder (below) and will move for the Germany star if they can finish in Serie A’s top four, securing Champions League football.

And City boss Pep Guardiola would not stand in his way.

Inter feel the extra revenue from qualifying for the Champions League and the lure of more regular first-team football may attract Gundogan, 27. He played in 30 Premier League games for champs City, but half of those were as a substitute. And Guardiola said: “Maybe players who are not happy and want to play more will ask to leave.”
