Big Sam’s disgust at Blues chiefs
SACKED Sam Allardyce has savaged Everton in a parting blast, claiming he is “disgusted” by their conduct.
Big Sam (right) is furious with the Goodison Park hierarchy for overhauling the club’s management without consulting him.
The 63-year-old only heard of the sweeping boardroom
changes while at the LMA annual dinner on Tuesday. Allardyce, who is in line for a £6-7million payoff, was sacked yesterday during a meeting in London with majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri (right). He fumed: “The changes must have been in the pipeline, but no one thought to tell me and my staff. I’m disgusted.” Professor Denise Barrett-baxendale, Everton’s new chief executive, said: “We will be appointing a new manager and commencing this process immediately.”
