As our longest-serving monarch the Queen is used to being the subject of photographs, but today’s picture shows Her Majesty behind the lens at the Royal Windsor Horse Show in Great Windsor Park in 1981. A favourite event of the royals, the show was first held in 1943 to raise funds for the war effort. The Queen has attended every year and she and Prince Philip have competed more than 30 times, with the prince winning the carriagedriving event in 1982.
