Cian Cowley THE MMA fighter charged alongside Conor Mcgregor for attacking a bus is set to compete just days before the pair appear in court.

Cian Cowley was charged with one count of misdemeano­ur assault and one count of criminal mischief last month.

He is due to appear in court with Mcgregor on June 14.

But the Dublin fighter will be in action at the Brave 13 MMA event in Belfast on June 9 when he takes on Polish fighter Daniel Olejniczak.

Cowley and Mcgregor were involved in a melee following a press event for UFC 223 with video footage allegedly showing them attacking a bus containing fellow fighters, including Mcgregor’s rival Khabib Nurmagomed­ov. RITA Ora has an aura of mystery as she plugs her new single in a pair of shades.

The singer, who has revealed she has had “romantic” relationsh­ips with other women as well as men, said the track Girls “was written to represent my truth and is an accurate account of a very real and honest experience in my life”.

But she had to apologise after being accused of using lyrics dubbed “hurtful” by members of the LGBTQ community. TOMORROW is set to be the warmest day of the week, with temperatur­es due to hit 20C.

However, the weather is set to take a dramatic turn for the worse on Sunday with rain and cooler temperatur­es returning.

Today will start off dull and cloudy with patchy outbreaks of rain and drizzle, mainly affecting western and north-western counties through the morning.

A forecaster said: “Highest temperatur­es will range from 13C to 17C or 18C, depending on sunshine with top values likely inland over southern counties.”

Meanwhile, Met Eireann said Saturday will be “dry with mild sunny periods. Perhaps a little cloudier at times closer to Atlantic coastal counties”.

A spokesman added: “Becoming breezy during the afternoon in freshening southerly winds, increasing strong and gusty along the west coast.

“Highest temperatur­es will range from 15C to 20C, with the northern half of the country enjoying the best of the sun.”

Ed Sheeran fans will be delighted to hear it could reach a balmy 20C in Dublin as thousands pack out Phoenix Park for the singer’s final Irish gig tomorrow.

But it’s all change for Sunday.

The spokesman said: “Quite the contrast to Saturday with a frontal rain band extending eastwards to affect most parts of the country.

“Winds will be mainly light moderate southerly,

“Much cooler too with maximum temperatur­es falling back to the low teens.”

The outlook for Monday is still uncertain but Met Eireann says the rain band will bring “heavy bursts” of to western and central areas. to
