Pop cross over The Magician makes his way back to District 8 tonight for Hidden Agenda. Previously a member of revered Balearic disco duo, Aeroplane, he disembarked that flight and boarded his own magical carpet ride eight years ago.

Following a string of releases on the French taste maker label Kitsune, Magician finally struck gold with his re-work of Lykke Li’s I Follow Rivers in 2011, which has had over 55 million views on Youtube and chart topping placings across Europe, and Clean Bandit’s Rather Be in 2014.

Admission is €18 work doors at 11pm.

I was interested to see Chicago soulful house producer Stacy Kidd (Mr) was listed as playing Hangar in their future shows a while ago – well it’s upon us this weekend and he is making his Irish debut tomorrow night at the Andrews Lane venue.

Stacy is one of the most versatile DJS in

House music today. He can play soulful and smooth house to the right crowd or bang out the funky tracks all night long.

His productions over the years have included reworks of disco and club classics to his own collabs with some of the industry’s finest vocal talents.

With releases not only his House4life imprint but also the likes of Yellorange (Tony Humphries iconic early 00s label) Underground Traxx, Classic, Basement Boys and Peacefrog his studio work has put him working with the likes of Terry Hunter, paul Jonson, DJ Sneak, Roger Sanchez and Kenny Dope to name but a small few of the big names associated with him.

His current remix of Colonel Abrahms Trapped has been doing the business for me on the way radio and in the club and if available now to buy in House4life.

Brought to you in association with Doublea DJS support is from Nicholas Mcintyre and admission is €15.
