Serena Williams Slippers given out to guests PRINCE Harry had been married to Meghan Markle only a matter of hours when his wife was whisked away by George Clooney – to the dancefloor.

The actor twirled with the new bride as he brought a touch of Hollywood glamour to the royal couple’s late reception party.

And Clooney, 57, also danced with the Duchess of Cambridge at the star-studded event in Windsor’s Frogmore House.

But one of the world’s the sexiest men did not get his own way with all the women – Fergie snubbed him when he asked her to dance, much to the amusement of other guests.

Meghan’s dog Guy also had revellers in fits as it caused chaos by running around the hall lapping up spilled food.

Earlier, the couple declared their love for each other in short speeches. Harry told friends: “You are the people that make ‘me’ me in my Harry life, which as you know is the backbone to Prince Harry.

“Now I’m going to hand over to my far better half…”

Meghan ended her emotional speech by declaring: “I have found my prince.”

She is also understood to have thanked the royals for welcoming her into the

“firm” and her close friends for supporting her in the last few weeks.

The couple chose

Whitney Houston’s hit I Wanna Dance With Somebody for their first jive.

One of the 200 guests said of the reception: “It wasn’t traditional in Meg’s pet beagle, Guy the slightest. They went into a bit of a jive and a lindy hop.”

Another added: “As we walked in there were ladies dressed in black, serving us fizz and Pimms, as well as canapes from the palace staff.

“That bit was a little formal with a bit of a line-up led by Charles and Camilla, with Wills and Kate to one side and Harry and Meghan in the middle of it all.”

But the guest told how fun took over formalities once the party got into swing, adding: “It was informal and a lovely atmosphere.

“The whole evening had a really chilled, festival vibe.”

Guest Suhani Jalota, who founded Mumbai charity Myna Mahila Foundation that Meghan visited last year, told Glamour Magazine: “I think everybody thought she looked beautiful. I got to speak to Meghan at the reception, when she and Prince Harry were meeting everybody one by one.

“Even after she has become the Duchess of Sussex, she hasn’t changed. I gave her a hug, I congratulated her.”

There were Madame Tussauds waxworks of Meghan and Harry at the event, which followed an earlier reception for all 600 wedding guests.

At that event, the prince moved them to tears by saying of his wife: “We make a great team.”

Evening reception guests included David and Victoria Beckham, tennis star Serena Williams, James Corden, Idris Elba, Amal Clooney and actress Priyanka Chopra.

Brother and best man William was there with wife Kate as well as Fergie’s daughters Beatrice and Eugenie. Elba is reported to have
