WOMAN WHO MADE MEGHAN DRESS

-

THOSE famous long, dark locks were pulled up into a glossy chignon, with loose face-framing tendrils tucked behind Meghan’s ears.

The elegant updo was styled by Us-based hairdresser Serge Normant and looked like a formal version of the messy bun she loves.

Wearing her hair up was the perfect choice as we could see the open bateau neckline of her Givenchy dress. For the evening, her chignon was refreshed by celebrity hairdresser George Northwood, again with her hair up. WHILE it had been reported that Meghan would do her own bridal make-up, she enlisted the help of her friend, specialist Daniel Martin.

Steering clear of a heavy base, she let her freckles shine through.

Apart from mascara, and subtle eye-liner, perhaps her favourite bronze Teddy shade Kohl by MAC, she stayed true to her signature look.

On her lips, she opted for a barelythere colour that could even pass for a balm, with a hint of pink. She is a fan of Fresh Sugar Rose Tinted lip treatment as it moisturises her lips. MEGHAN’S veil was held in place by the Queen Mary diamond bandeau tiara. Made in 1932 for Queen Mary, its detachable brooch dates to 1893.

The platinum and diamond tiara has 11 parts. It was made to hold the brooch, given to Mary on her marriage to Prince George, Duke of York.

Meghan wore a Cartier bracelet and diamond stud earrings, which she later swapped for Reflection de Cartier diamond droplet earrings plus Princess Diana’s cocktail ring.

Her wedding band was made from Welsh gold gifted by the Queen.
