Chas is in a panic, after realising her baby scan is today and not tomorrow. Even more so when she discovers Paddy is nowhere to be found. The soppy so and so has secretly gone up to Scotland with Marlon to look at wedding venues, and is gutted when he finally gets his phone messages. Chas goes by herself and is thrilled to learn she’s expecting a girl, but things quickly change when the scan reveals something worrying.
CORONATION STREET
TV3, 9pm
Seemingly indestructible, Phelan is now armed and dangerous. Getting the better of Gary yet again he leaves him and Sarah tied up at the builder’s yard and heads to number 11. It’s a horrifying “Hi honey, I’m home” for Eileen, who’s gobsmacked to see her ex back from the dead, barging through the door and brandishing a gun – which soon gets fired.
Meanwhile, when bride-to-be Michelle learns Robert has done a runner she sends Steve to track him down and bring him back.
EASTENDERS
RTE One, 7.30pm
Poor Carmel. Reassuring the paramedics her suicide attempt was a mistake and that she’s fine, it’s clear that she is anything but. As Denise tries to persuade her to go to the memorial Linda is organising for Shakil in the Square, Carmel refuses – and lashes out at Karen, saying it’s not fair her son Keegan is still alive while her boy isn’t. She’s also angry with Mick and blaming him, although he’s doing a good job of that himself anyway.
