I have birds living above my front door. They get in through a small opening and the mess is terrible. What can I do?

Wait until the chicks have flown the nest, then fill their entry holes – expanding foam will sort it.

I have had my front drive and part of a garden block paved by a local firm. It cost €7,000 and it looks great. However, when it rains we have a large puddle outside the front door and garage. We’ve phoned the firm and nothing gets done. What next? Barbara Pearson, by email
All hardstanding should be laid with a fall towards a verge or drain. Find out what paving was used. If it was made by Marshalls, that firm has an installation procedures book that gives specifications for the fall needed. Your next step may need to be legal action.
AQI had a Colourfence fitted and I’m very happy with it. However, another firm repaired the paving below it and now I’ve got cement marks on the fence. These guys are now ignoring me. What can I do?

What a shame – Colourfence is a great product. Phone Colourfence for help because I can’t think of any solution that won’t spoil the paint finish.
