Ex Factor secrets Louis burns bridges with tell-all autobiography
FOR a third time Louis Walsh has been dumped from X Factor – but this time it looks like he’s definitely not returning.
Simon Cowell twice brought him back when it became clear his absence did nothing to help ratings.
But Louis, 65, is giving this exit an air of finality by taking his revenge with a tell-all autobiography.
Cowell first gave Louis the chop in 2007, replacing him with US choreographer Brian Friedman. After a few days of auditions however, Cowell Michelle Keegan only gets to wear khakis as soldier Georgie Lane in BBC1’S Our Girl.
But here she is looking glam as she unveils her new Very. co.uk range. Now, that’s acting... In Our Girl realised his error and drafted Louis back in. Friedman was given the role of “creative director”.
Then in 2015, ahead of the 12th series, the axe fell again with Louis saying he’d quit to return to full-time music management. But by 2016 he was back in.
Last week Louis, axed yet again, said he would be “working on his memoirs”. Square Eyes can reveal he plans to tell what has really gone at the ITV series.
Fans are likely to find out about Cowell’s affair with Dannii Minogue, his real feelings for Cheryl, his current relationship with Lauren Silverman, and the many backstage rows. A source close to Louis says he will be paid for this season as he has a two-year contract. The source adds: “He is going to settle a few scores.” Well about time too... Walsh
