Tonight down at District 8 join Tiga for his return to Dublin and indeed his D8 debut. Canadian Tiga Sontag (ex Zombie

Nation) has been a central figure on the electronic music scene for the past 20 years.

Back in then in 1998, the Montreal born Djproducer started label Turbo Recordings as an outlet for his own wildman organ escapades but he soon found a host of other artists who were willing to record for him.

In the two decades since Turbo has released over 20 albums, two samplers, and 12 vinyl twelve inches and secured global distribution with Prime, Intergroove and Caroline.

Notable releases include Peter Benisch’s Soundtrack Saga, Christopher Handlebar’s To a Time of Asia and Tiga’s own Mixed Emotions and American Gigolo.

Ghost Boy and Adult Store support and tickets are €20 with doors at 11pm.

Uptown at PYG Fridays, Berny is the main event. The DJ producer (Godeeva Zoo:technique/king Street Sounds/nite Grooves/back And Forth) first came into the public domain with his smash hit ‘Shplatten’ back in 2010 on Luca Ricci’s label Aenaria Recordings.

The track rocked all clubs and festivals around the world thanks to support from the likes of Richie Hawtin and Marco Carola and gave Berny a well deserved international reputation together with a long floating stay on Beatport chart.

Living between Italy and Berlin where he regularly plays in clubs like Sisyphos, Chalet, Ipse, Suicide Circus and Ritter Butzke, his global touring schedule continues to broaden as he brings his sound to clubs like Womb in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Seoul, Singapore, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur and parties like Jungle Experience in Thailand where he played in front of 5000 people and his recent stints at clubbing institutions like Fabric and Ministry Of Sound in London.

Marcus O’laoire and Karl Guest join the party with doors at 10pm and admission €5.

Tonight at Berlin D2 another monthly instalment of Hot House takes place. Expect good vibes, lovely people and an all round high energy atmosphere.

Order of the evening is 90s, funk and house music brought to you by Prymary (sic) Colours, duo of Daz Cay and Cayisha with a mix of electronic beats and soulful vocals.

Damien Mcclurg aka Jus Damien and one half of Momentum Music (he also runs Dark Trax records) it all kicks off nice and early at 9pm and you guessed it – it’s free in.

So well worth popping into.
