ERIKSEN IS THE MAIN DANE-GER

DENMARK head coach Age Hareide has warned Australia to watch out for Christian Eriksen.

A second Group C win in Samara today would put the Danes on the verge of qualificat­ion for the knockout stage after their 1-0 victory over Peru.

The Socceroos must stop Tottenham midfielder Eriksen (left) as they try to recover from a 2-1 defeat by France.

Hareide said: “Christian is a player who can change matches and we try to get him involved as much as we can.

“The opponents, they are going to be very cautious and careful about him, but he is used to that from the Premier League, isn’t he?

“We have seen in the Premier League that he can succeed neverthele­ss.

“We hope we will get him up to a good level and that he will be able to show good things at this World Cup.”

Aussie coach Bert van Marwijk has warned his men they face a physical test.

The Dutch coach, whose men went down fighting against France, believes the Danes are more of a team than Didier Deschamps’ individual­s, but fears his players are in for a bruising encounter.

He said: “The Danish are a strong team. They are No.12 in the world rankings and that says enough.
