EASTER LILY came from well off the pace to land the listed Oaks Trial for Aidan O’brien and Wayne Lordan in Naas last night.
The 16/1 shot was produced late to foil Mary Tudor by a length, with another Ballydoyle filly Sizzling in third.
“She’s been busy all year, running well at listed and Group 3, and they all have their turn,” said Lordan.
“She’s genuine and tough and coming through the middle of them suited her, but she doesn’t do a whole pile in front.”
