Love Island fans slam cruel old flame stunt that left Dani in tears
Norwegian Getaway A CREWMAN who fell overboard from a cruise ship was plucked alive from the sea 22 hours later by another liner.
The Norwegian Getaway was 28 miles northwest of Pinar del Rio, Cuba, on Saturday when the man, 33, plunged over the side.
Passenger Eddy Lowinger said: “The ship made a U-turn and we noticed crew using binoculars trying to find the crewmember in the ocean.”
The liner alerted the US Coast Guard which sent a plane to search the area but he was spotted waving his arms by the crew of the liner Carnival Glory.
“This is miraculous,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line.
The man was said to be in a stable condition.
