HOLIDAYMAKERS passed out as their plane was stuck for three hours on the runway of a Greek island in sweltering heat.
Thomas Cook passengers including babies, pregnant women and the elderly also threw up as air conditioning failed and the temperature on board reached around 40C.
Dan Chapman, 22, said: “It was very dangerous. It’s illegal to treat animals like this, let alone people.”
Kerry Shippey said: “Keeping people in a tin can in 40C heat so people are passing out and throwing up is taking things a little far, don’t you think?”
Diabetic Isabella Wright called the ordeal “horrific” and a “breach of human rights”. Others said the “sweatbox” was “hellish”.
