ANYTHING stamped ’Roger Federer’ sells at Wimbledon – as the rush to snap up the limited-edition towels marking his eight titles showed.

Around 1,500 of the souvenirs available at the Court No.1 shop were all gone by 2.30pm, having gone on sale only hours earlier – not even the £50 price-tag could put off his fans.

The only person who didn’t have to risk disappointment and queue up? Federer (left) himself – he had a few of the mementos squirrelled away for him.
