Mental health charity needs volunteers

A GROUP that provides support for those suffering from depression and bipolar disorder is urgently seeking new volunteers.

No prior qualifications or experience is required, as comprehensive training as well as ongoing support and education is provided by the organisation.

Aware spokeswoman Brid O’meara said: “Aware Support Services offer a crucial lifeline for individuals and families impacted by depression and bipolar disorder.

“Without the dedication and commitment of our volunteers, it would not be possible to provide these free and essential support services nationwide.”
