New aircraft leasing body up & running
Paschal Donohoe A NEW representative body has been created to ensure Ireland retains its number one position globally in aircraft leasing.
The group was officially launched in Dublin yesterday by Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe.
Welcoming the establishment of Aircraft Leasing Ireland, he said: “Ireland’s aviation sector has gone from strength to strength in recent years.
“As a former Transport Minster it has been a great source of pride to see the growth that has taken place, the number of jobs created and the impact the industry has had on the wider economy.”
The sector supports 5,000 jobs and contributes more than €550million annually to the economy.
