New deal ..Ewood you know
BLACKBURN ROVERS DARRAGH LENIHAN has signed a new four-year deal with Blackburn Rovers.
Lenihan (above), who made his senior Ireland debut in last month’s friendly defeat of the US, has been at the Championship club for the past seven years.
The 24-year-old, a former Ireland under-21 skipper, has made 88 appearances for Rovers.
Lenihan’s new contract goes to the end of the 2021/22 season and follows a strong end to last term, when the ex-belvedere Boys schoolboy bounced back from a broken metarsal on the opening day of the season that ruled him out until February.
