Woman, 92, shoots son

A 92-year-old US woman shot and killed her son, 72, to avoid being sent to a care home, cops have said.

Anna Mae Blessing, who is charged with murder, reportedly said: “You took my life, so I’m taking yours.”

Mrs Blessing told police she had intended to kill herself too.
