Colm glad he tuned out of his RTE role
FORMER 2fm presenter Colm Hayes has said the only thing he misses about RTE is “the car parking”.
The star is now programme director and breakfast show host with Radio Nova.
Dubliner Colm told the Irish Mirror he feels he has more freedom than when working for the national broadcaster.
He added: “I don’t miss the days at all. The only thing I really miss about RTE is the car parking.
“Compared to RTE, yes [there is more freedom].
“The freedom of finding out you’ve done something wrong after you’ve done something wrong is far better than pre-empting it.
“That’s the problem with RTE.”
