Stars have a Bal on the course
Enda Kenny A HOST of famous faces were hoping to get the rub of the green as they took part in the Irish Open pro-am yesterday.
A couple of thousand spectators watched tournament host Rory Mcilroy tee-off at the event in Ballyliffin, Co Donegal, yesterday.
Actor James Nesbitt, former Boyzone star Keith Duffy, Westlife crooner Brian Mcfadden, former Taoiseach Enda Kenny and businessman JP Mcmanus were among those who took part.
And they weren’t just there for the golf as they raised money for charity.
Rory tweeted last night: “We are delighted to announce a €100,000 donation to the Donegal Hospice.”
