Water waste of vital resources

ENGINEERS have blasted Irish Water as it emerged 22,000 Olympic-sized pools of water leak from pipes every year.

The country is suffering in the hot spell, with hosepipe bans ordered as the supply is in crisis.

Engineers Ireland declared the future is bleak for water conservation unless key infrastructure projects are completed.

We live in a supposed developed country but our Government has continually failed to ensure all the supply is safe to drink.

Official Ireland practises the strategy of, “It’ll be grand” but we are just weeks into a heatwave and our water system is on its knees.
