ELECTRIC KONA CHARGES IN

It’s a no-brainer really. Take a compact crossover – the de facto family car – and electrify it. Which is exactly what Hyundai has done with its KONA SUV.

The new KONA Electric will be available to order from August 2. The entry-level SE comes with a 39kwh battery. Next up is the Premium which adds kit such as privacy glass, automatic headlamps, climate control and more. The real choice is between this model and the flagship Premium SE, which has a 64kwh battery and a much longer range of up to 300 miles.

Currently, the KONA Electric is available to order only via Hyundai’s click-tobuy website but will be available from physical dealerships from next year.
