150 new jobs at US animal vaccine base
A NEW factory producing animal vaccines will create 150 jobs, it has emerged.
US firm Phibro Animal Health will fill the roles over the next five years at its new base in Sligo’s Finisklin Business Park.
Chief Jack Bendheim said: “The creation of Phibro Ireland marks an important milestone in our development as a leading global player in the animal health biological market.”
Agriculture Minister Michael Creed added: “This significant investment is a great vote of confidence in Sligo and will offer even more opportunities for communities to grow and thrive.”
