Macca ready to Get Back on the road

Paul Mccartney PAUL Mccartney has announced his first UK live dates in three years to the delight of many fans.

The 76-year-old will perform in Liverpool, Glasgow and London as part of his Freshen Up tour, following the release of new album Egypt Station on September 7.

Tickets for the former Beatle’s December shows go on sale on July 16 from AXS and Ticketmast­er.

Mccartney said: “There’s nothing like performing in front of your home crowd, especially when it’s been a while. I can’t wait to finish the year on such a high”

He will play Liverpool’s Echo Arena on December 12, the SSE Hydro in Glasgow on December 14 and London’s O2 Arena on December 16. A TERMINALLY ill mother who settled a legal case for €7.5million after the Cervicalch­eck scandal insisted yesterday she just wants her children looked after.

Devastated mother-of-five Emma Mhic Mhathuna broke down during a live radio interview after revealing her cancer has spread to her brain.

The 37-year-old wept: “The €7.5million doesn’t make any difference­s to me.

“I just went in there [court] and I wasn’t taking any nonsense, because I just wanted my children taken care of.

“I kind of have that box ticked that I was taking care of them financiall­y and I felt they [those responsibl­e for her misdiagnos­is] should pay for it.”

The brave Kerry woman struggled for words as she spoke on Today with Miriam on RTE Radio 1.

She said: “It just brings it back home to what happens when a test is wrong.

“There are times when I break down, and I can do it now because my children are not around, but when I’m around them I just kind of have to stay really happy. But it’s just so wrong.”

She added she is not scared of dying because of her faith but is heartbroke­n for her children, and is afraid of explaining to them what to do if she has a seizure. She
