Costly shows are not Taylor made

TAYLOR Swift and the Rolling Stones struggled to fill their recent gigs in Dublin and there’s every chance upcoming concerts by top-notch acts will suffer the same fate.

It’s hardly surprising fans are staying away when you could almost bag yourself a trip to Spain for the price of a pair of tickets. I recently forked out almost €400 for two tickets to see the Stones at Croker and, while it was great, it would have paid for a week in the Costas. While there’s nothing like a live show, why blow your holiday cash for two hours when you can sit by the pool for two weeks with a €2 pint listening to your favourite band on your headphones?
