Bears to return to UK woodland
Brown bear BROWN bears are set to be brought back to a British woodland next year.
There will be a walkway in the treetops for visitors to see the ferocious animals close up.
The scheme at Wild Place Project on the Hollywood estate in South Glos has been approved by the council.
Nigel Simpson, at Wild Place Project, said they are “thrilled” by the decision.
Experts think brown bears roamed wild in Britain as recently as 1,500 years ago.
