Garda probe after man stabbed several times
A MAN is in a serious but stable condition after being stabbed several times in an attack.
The 30-year-old was assaulted at an apartment block on Clanbrassil Street Lower in central Dublin at around 10.40pm on Wednesday.
He was taken to St James’s Hospital where his injuries are described as non-life threatening.
The scene, and a stretch of road outside the apartment, were sealed off by investigators.
A Garda spokesperson said: “Officers in Kevin Street are appealing for information following the assault of a man during in Clanbrassil Street Lower area on July 4. A local man was found to have sustained a number of stab wounds.
“It was not initially clear where the assault took place and a crime scene was later discovered and preserved at nearby St Vincent Street.
“No arrests have been made to date and inquiries are ongoing.”
