MCGRATH QUITS

PETE MCGRATH has quit as Louth manager after less than a year.

The move was expected after a disappointing season as Louth dropped to Division Three and were beaten by Carlow and Leitrim in Championship.

A Louth statement said: “Pete has great enthusiasm for the game and Louth GAA enjoyed a positive working relationship with him and his management team.”
