Study boost for the local food sector

A MINISTER yesterday launched a progress report on the Food Wise 2025: Steps to Success 2018 initiative.

Cork North-west TD Michael Creed said: “Our intensified market access and development efforts, including trade missions, are reaping rewards.

“Last year’s record agri-food exports of €13.6billion are an endorsement of this effort and of Ireland’s quality produce and high standards of food safety and traceability.”

The High Level Implementation Committee provides a forum to review progress and understand the challenges ahead.
