Protest calls for action on Assad’s war
A PROTEST will be held today to call on the international community to bring an end to the renewed attack on Daraa.
The Irish-syria Solidarity Movement rally will take place at Dublin’s Central Bank Plaza at 2pm.
The group claims that, despite being classified a De-escalation Zone, the regime has abrogated this agreement.
A spokesman said: “For now over eight years the international community has been paralysed in its response to Assad’s war of attrition on his own people, a war of terror descending into ever greater levels of barbarism as the civilised world stands by.”
