Swedes on a mission to keep Kane quiet
SWEDEN know they must stop Harry Kane to win today.
Their captain Andreas Granqvist said: “He’s incredibly skilled, not just at penalties, but as a striker.
“He’s good at everything and it’s going to be a very tough match against him. But we’re going to do everything to stop him.”
Central defender Granqvist insisted the Swedes have worked on nullifying England talisman Kane and his team-mates at set-pieces – and hope to provide their own threat.
Granqvist added: “We do the job 100 per cent and we dare to have our own attacking style.
“This is why we’ve won most of our games. At the set-pieces, we’ve been very strong.”
