Man held on assault rap
A MAN in his 30s has been arrested after an assault left the victim in a “serious” condition.
The incident took place on John’s Street in Waterford at around 2am on Saturday.
A Garda spokesman told the Irish Mirror a man in his 40s suffered head injuries and was taken to Waterford University Hospital.
He was later transferred to Cork University Hospital where his condition is described as serious.
